Jeanette Jacket/Dress

Inspired by the traditional safari garment, Jeanette can be made as a dress or jacket. All the codes of the emblematic model are there: a tailored collar and pockets with box pleats and flaps. Sleeves can be made short with a lapel and placket or long with a cuff, while the waist can be tightened with a tied belt or buckle.

P.S. While all writing on the outside of the envelope is in French, there is a full set of instructions in English included inside.

9 buttons, 18-22mm wide
2 buttons, 12-15mm wide
1 buckle (optional)

For the dress version:

3m of fabric
100cm of fusible interfacing
11 buttons, 18-22mm wide
4 buttons, 12-15mm wide
1 buckle (optional)

Suggested fabrics: For the dress version, mediumweight fabrics such as viscose twill, linen, tencel, and cotton lawn. For the jacket version, heavyweight fabrics such as gabardine, denim or jacquard.
