FAQ

My little shop is based in the Perth hills, running out of a sea container turned studio in my Mum and Dad’s backyard. Surrounded by both vineyards and bush, the studio is surrounded by trees and birds.

While we would love to meet you, at the moment our shop is online only.

Yes! We offer swatches for all of our fabrics for $2 per swatch with free shipping.

To purchase, click on the purple “order sample” button on each fabric page.

Our swatches are small pre-cut squares that enable you to feel the fabric and test the colour.

We aim to have all orders in the post one business day after they are received. During busy sale periods, this may stretch out to 2 or 3. If your order is urgent, please let us know and we will make it a priority.

To the world! We offer free standard shipping on all Australian orders. Please see our shipping and returns page for more information.

Our emails do occasionally end up in spam or junk folders. If you can’t find any emails from us, please send me an email at hello@jessicajoyfulstudio.com so I can send through your order confirmation and parcel tracking manually.

If you have any worries about your order, please get in touch – I’m here to help.

Depending on location, shipping times can vary. Australia Post suggests 2-5 business days for standard deliveries to Perth (metro area) and 3-6 business days for standard interstate deliveries.

However, as we are based in Western Australia, deliveries to the east coast can sometimes take longer, particularly during busy periods. If you need your items quickly, we offer express shipping for a flat rate of $12.

We recommend washing all fabrics before use – there is nothing worse than having a homemade garment shrink in the wash (speaking from experience!) As a general rule, it is best to wash the fabric as you would wash the garment. If a fabric requires special treatment, it will be noted in the fabric’s description.

Yes! We offer gift wrapping of all items for an additional $2.

We are focusing on stocking fabrics that are as eco-friendly as possible, searching out suppliers that focus on reducing environmental impact wherever possible.

In the studio, we use bio-degradable post packs and stickers.

Sizeable fabric leftovers are sold as remnants, and smaller pieces are cut up for quilting or donated to local schools for arts and crafts.

The paper from our gift wrapping can be recycled, and we use re-usable cloth ribbon.
