Why choose bio-cotton?

Bio-cotton is cotton that has been grown organically – without the use of pesticides. In addition to reducing the number of chemicals in the world, organic farming practises crop rotation, which helps to keep the soil healthy and fertile. With no chemical run off, water supplies are kept clean, good news for plants and animals.

This cotton has a twill weave. In terms of feel, it’s similar to a light drill or very light denim. Perfect for jackets or trousers, this fabric has low stretch and will be very easy to sew.

Washing instructions: machine washable at 30°, iron on a medium setting and at the inside, no tumble dry. Always pre-wash, this fabric has a shrink percentage of 2%.
