Fabric Suggestions
For the Heather Dress sewing pattern we recommend a medium weight knit fabric with a low stretch percentage, such as a ponte di roma, double knit jersey or interlock knits. Stable and substantial, these fabrics don’t wriggle around like lightweight jersey and are easy to sew. We also recommend you use a ballpoint needle with knit fabrics to avoid snagging your dress.
